Lore & Background
The game's story covers part of the Millennium Empire Arc from the manga volumes 22 to 27. Guts is on a quest to restore Casca to sanity by traveling to Elfheim. There is also an original subplot involving an Apostle named Charles who haunts Guts with memories of the former members of The Band of the Hawk. The game features more detailed polygonal models and larger maps than its predecessor on Dreamcast. A motion capture process was used for added realism in character moves, and voice dubbing was made with the original anime television series cast.
Reader's Guide
Berserk Millennium Falcon Arc: Chapter of the Holy Demon War is significant as the second video game adaptation of the Berserk manga, continuing the story from volumes 22 to 27. It was released simultaneously in Japan and Korea, with a Korean version licensed to YBM-Sisa. The game's soundtrack features compositions by Susumu Hirasawa, who also worked on the anime and the previous Dreamcast game, as well as contributions from Sound Ams composers. Famitsu magazine gave it a score of 28 out of 40.
